Fun Times

Even though Abby has been sick, we've managed to get some fun in. When it's not raining (which is not very often these days) we take walks to the nearby elementary school after dinner to play:

Here she is "attempting" to run in her new running shoes. Now, I know she isn't really going very fast, and she looks really clumsy, but keep in mind the ground is really lumpy! I swear she's as graceful as a swan ; )



And here Alex is teaching her to eat clovers. Midway through you'll see her make a grand gesture--she's saying "It's everywhere!"

Often there are other kids at the park, which thrills Abby. She is so gregarious. The last time we went there were two older kids playing kickball. She ran right over to them and without a moments hesitation asked for the ball. Then she threw it back to them. They were really nice and sat down with her on the ground to roll the ball back and forth. She was in heaven.
